Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Service Assistant / Technician II & III.
Service Assistant / Technician II & III Job Details
Schedule: Full-time
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Location: Colerain Township, OH

Service Assistant / Technician II & III Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Related maintenance experience and/or training preferred.
- Current valid driver's license required.
- Ability to read and comprehend basic written instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance-related problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work on roofs and ladders up to 40 feet.
- Ability to work in extreme heat and cold and around maintenance equipment, chemicals, and other job-site conditions.
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation every other week.
- Technician Level II employees without 608 Certification must provide required hand and power tools.
About the Service Assistant / Technician II & III Role
As a Service Assistant / Technician II & III, your responsibilities will include:
- Assist with service tickets in occupied and vacant apartment units.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, appliance, and window repairs.
- Complete drywall repairs, wall plate removal, light globe removal, and wallpaper removal.
- Remove vinyl flooring and carpet as needed.
- Perform caulking, paint touch-ups, and other apartment preparation tasks.
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents.
- Complete maintenance items identified during resident move-in inspections.
- Maintain current records of vacant unit status, required work, completed work, and anticipated completion dates.
- Assist with preventive maintenance and asset records.
- Maintain clean and organized maintenance shops and garages.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify the Service Supervisor when additional parts are needed.
- Assist with snow and ice removal and spread salt as needed.
- Suggest improvements to working conditions and equipment to improve efficiency and quality.
- Maintain positive and professional relationships with residents, subcontractors, coworkers, and managers.
- Follow all company safety and security procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
