This position is mainly housekeeping . Can not be afraid to get dirty, push a broom, run a sweeper.  Also could be on a small pack line manually filling and sealing bags.

Requirements of the Material Handler:

– Entry level
-Ability to add, subtract and multiply
-Ability to work in dusty environment and in the outdoor environment
-Must be able to work overtime and/or 10 hour shifts
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-HS diploma or equivalent
– Background: No Felonies in 7 years


Responsibilities of the  Material Handler:
Cuts and dumps bags into the hopper to rework and use again
-Ensuring organic materials flow through the shakers
-Informs the heavy equipment operator to fill the shakers
-General housekeeping duties
-Operate various equipment as needed
-Ensures plant cleanliness and organization

Benefits of the  Material Handler:

Pay depends on forklift experience — with experience 19.40 + $1.00 shift differential.
