Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Warehouse Returns Associate.
Warehouse Returns Associate Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00/hr
Location: Walton, KY
Warehouse Returns Associate Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or distribution experience preferred.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
- Ability to walk approximately 7–10 miles per day.
- Ability to frequently walk up and down stairs throughout the workday.
- Steel-toe or composite-toe safety footwear required.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems preferred.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Ability to accurately count, inspect, and verify incoming merchandise.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation.
- Ability to identify damaged, incorrect, or missing merchandise.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively with team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to assist in other warehouse departments as needed.
- Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic required.
About the Warehouse Returns Associate Role
As a Warehouse Returns Associate, your responsibilities will include:
- Receive, inspect, and process returned automotive parts and merchandise.
- Accurately receive and verify incoming store returns, batteries, and cores.
- Use RF scanners to track merchandise and update inventory records.
- Verify incoming shipments against paperwork and inventory documentation.
- Identify and document product shortages and overages.
- Inspect returned merchandise to determine product condition and accuracy.
- Distinguish between new and used automotive parts during the receiving process.
- Check incoming products for damage, missing components, or discrepancies.
- Stock and organize automotive parts within designated warehouse locations.
- Use pallet jacks to move and position merchandise throughout the facility.
- Accurately count, verify, and restock warehouse inventory.
- Enter inventory shortages and overages into the computer system promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of received merchandise and returned products.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining warehouse storage areas.
- Follow inventory management procedures to ensure accurate product tracking.
- Meet established production, receiving, and inventory accuracy goals.
- Communicate inventory discrepancies and product concerns to supervisors.
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Assist team members with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse operations.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse work areas.
- Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
- Complete additional warehouse and returns processing duties as assigned.
