Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Yard Driver.
Yard Driver Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

Yard Driver Requirements/Qualifications
- Resume or work history showing yard driving experience required.
- Yard dog (yard truck) experience required.
- CDL preferred, but not required.
- Ability to safely operate an automatic yard truck.
- Reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work extended shifts when needed.
- No high school diploma or GED required.
- Background check required (reviewed on a case-by-case basis).
- 5-panel drug screen required.
- Must wear appropriate work attire (no sleeveless shirts or jeans with holes).
About the Yard Driver Role
As a Yard Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Operate an automatic yard truck to move trailers throughout the facility.
- Transport trailers safely between designated locations on the property.
- Perform trailer inspections before and after moves.
- Position trailers at loading and unloading docks.
- Communicate with warehouse and shipping personnel.
- Follow all yard traffic and safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized and efficient trailer yard.
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
- Support daily shipping and receiving operations.
- Perform additional yard duties as assigned.
