Crown Staffing is now hiring a 1st Shift full-time Auditor Associate for a large electronic recycling facility in West Chicago, IL!
Material Handler
Monday–Friday | 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM | $17.00/hr
Monday–Friday | 5:45 AM – 2:15 PM | $17.00/hr
Material Handler Associate Requirements
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or production experience
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift
- Ability to safely use hand tools and basic power tools
- Strong attention to detail for sorting, separating, and processing materials
About the Material Handler Associate Role
As a Material Handler, your responsibilities will include:
- Process inbound and outbound post-consumer electronics and related materials
- Dismantle, separate, and sort electronic devices and components per company procedures
- Debox, sort, and part-harvest electronic materials for resale or recycling
- Identify and safely remove hazardous components such as batteries, inks, mercury lamps, and toners
- Use hand tools and power tools to assist in dismantling electronic devices
- Follow all safety, health, environmental, and sustainability (SHECS) guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times
- Meet daily and monthly production quotas based on operational standards
- Assist with inbound and outbound freight processing as needed
- Conduct Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) checks when required
