Crown Staffing is looking for a qualified Patternmaker Apprentice for our partner in Leads AL. The right candidate will enter the Patternmaker apprenticeship program

Apprentice training program overview

– Three-year apprenticeship program

– At the completion of the program, you will have learned the fundamental skills required to design and build foundry / casting tooling

– Required training will include in-house, online and offsite (Community College)

– In-house training includes

o Hands-on experience training with individuals in our green sand-casting operation (job shadowing)

o Training alongside journeyman patternmakers with many years of experience in the trade (job shadowing and assisting)

o Programming, setup and operation of CNC machining equipment

o 3D scanning and printing

Minimum requirements to begin the apprentice program (applicant must have verifiable evidence of at least one of the below)

– High School Diploma and a minimum 80% score on our skills assessment test

– Machine Tool Technology Certificate or currently enrolled in such program

– Proven / demonstrated strong background in manual or CNC machining
