Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Job Details
Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM
Overtime: Mandatory
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Requirements/Qualifications
- Cherry picker and forklift experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout an 8–10 hour shift
- Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Experience with RF scan guns, PIT equipment, or distribution centers preferred
- Must be flexible and willing to assist in multiple departments
- Must maintain excellent attendance and reliability
- Must pass a drug screen within 30 days of placement
- Background check required; no theft or violent offenses
About the Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator Role
As a Cherry Picker/Forklift Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating powered industrial trucks including cherry pickers, stock pickers, reach trucks, runners, pallet jacks, and RC trucks
- Unloading trailers and moving inventory throughout the warehouse
- Using RF scan guns to process and fulfill orders
- Utilizing a voice-directed picking system and phonetic alphabet for order accuracy
- Replenishing inventory and stocking picking locations
- Building and stacking pallets safely according to company standards
- Performing inventory counts and maintaining accurate product records
- Following all OSHA and company safety procedures, including fall protection requirements
- Maintaining productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced distribution environment
