Skilled Labor Technician Job Details

Pay Rate: $20.00–$23.00/hr, based on experience
Location: Monroe, OH
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:30 PM

Skilled Labor Technician Requirements/Qualifications

Approximately 2 years of general construction experience preferred.
Experience in residential, commercial, remodeling, or similar construction trades.
Strong knowledge of hand and power tools.
Ability to accurately measure and build from plans.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and measurements.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to operate power tools and construction equipment safely.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work throughout the day.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn new trades and skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality workmanship.

About the Skilled Labor Technician Role

As a Skilled Labor Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Perform wood and metal framing.
Install plywood, OSB, drywall, and other sheathing materials.
Perform painting and finishing work.
Install insulation.
Install vinyl, laminate, and other flooring materials.
Install windows and doors.
Perform basic plumbing tasks as needed.
Read and interpret construction drawings and measurements.
Safely operate hand and power tools and construction equipment.
Assist with welding, metal fabrication, and custom fabrication projects as needed.
Assist with shipping container modifications and custom container projects.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work independently and as part of a team.
Perform additional construction and fabrication duties as assigned.
