TIG Welder Job Details
Pay Rate: $23.00/hr
Location: Franklin, OH
1st Shift : Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

TIG Welder Requirements/Qualifications
- Must have your own welding equipment.
- Experience performing precision TIG welding.
- Ability to weld stainless steel and Inconel aerospace components.
- Ability to weld sheet material ranging approximately from 0.035" to 0.250" thickness.
- Ability to properly set up welding equipment and select filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
- Experience with cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other fabrication processes.
- Ability to operate grinders, hand tools, and other fabrication equipment safely.
- Strong attention to detail and weld quality.
- Ability to inspect your own work and make necessary adjustments.
- Ability to work independently while supporting team and department needs.
- Ability to work additional hours based on production needs, including additional weekday hours and Sundays.
About the TIG Welder Role
As a TIG Welder, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel and Inconel aerospace components.
- Weld sheet material ranging approximately from 0.035" to 0.250" thickness.
- Set up welding equipment based on specific job requirements.
- Select the appropriate filler wire, materials, and welding parameters.
- Prepare parts through cutting, grinding, cleaning, fitting, and other fabrication processes.
- Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, job routers, and specifications.
- Produce welds that meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements.
- Inspect work throughout the welding process and make adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain weld quality while meeting production expectations.
- Safely operate grinders, hand tools, and other required equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
