Warehouse/Forklift Operator
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operator to join our team in a fast-paced distribution center. In this role, you will safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products while helping maintain efficient warehouse operations. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
This role also includes occasional driving of a 24-foot Freightliner box truck, so a clean, valid driver's license is required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and pick orders.
- Build, wrap, and stage pallets for shipment.
- Perform heavy lifting and other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and warehouse equipment, reporting any maintenance needs.
- Work closely with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Occasionally operate a 24-foot Freightliner box truck
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required.
- Experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling preferred.
- Experience working in a distribution center is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clean, valid driver's license required.
- Experience driving a 24-foot Freightliner or similar box truck is preferred.
