About the Medical Assistant Role
Crown Staffing is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a busy healthcare setting in Louisville, KY. This role plays a key part in patient care by assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and day-to-day clinical tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment. Experience in pediatrics is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures
- Prepare exam, diagnostic, and treatment rooms
- Take and record vital signs and patient medical histories
- Support diagnostic testing and treatment processes as directed
- Ensure accurate documentation in patient records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
- Follow all safety, infection control, and patient care protocols
- Provide a professional and compassionate experience for patients and families
- Support clinic workflow and assist with additional tasks as needed
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical setting
- Previous pediatric experience is a plus
- Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures
- Ability to handle confidential patient information with professionalism
- Must complete additional credentialing documents during onboarding (FQHC requirement)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
