Machine Operator
Bowling Green, KY
Pay: $18.00/hour
Pay: $18.00/hour
Available Shifts
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM–5:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
Machine Operator Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous CNC machine-operating experience preferred
- Forklift and overhead-crane experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand basic English
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers
- Ability to recognize nonstandard conditions and respond appropriately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and production requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor automated CNC machining lines that produce aluminum-alloy billets for forging presses.
- Ensure equipment operates within established parameters.
- Monitor production processes and maintain product quality.
- Make machine-offset adjustments when necessary and authorized.
- Use forklifts and overhead cranes to handle materials.
- Complete required production and quality documentation.
- Perform equipment and production changeovers.
- Identify and report equipment, production, or quality concerns.
- Complete basic troubleshooting as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all equipment-safety and workplace procedures.
- Perform additional production duties as assigned.
