Dental Hygienist Job Details Frankfort, KY Monday – Friday | 7:45am-5:30pm | $39.00-$42.00 – Overtime possible/ mandatory – Direct hire/Sign on bonus Dental Hygienist Requirements: – Ability to read, write and speak fluent English – High School Diploma/GED – Dental hygienist Certificate/License – Updated resume – In person Interview – Business casual – Proficient in medical imaging techniques for dental x-rays – Knowledge of aseptic technique to ensure a sterile environment – Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs of patients – Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental software for patient record management – Experience in dental office assistant and patient assessment – Knowledge of pediatric dental care practices and techniques – Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions – Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic health record systems About the Dental Hygienist Role: – Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth – Take and develop dental x-rays using medical imaging equipment – Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions – Assist the dentist during procedures by providing aseptic technique support – Take and record vital signs of patients – Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software – Assist with dental office administrative tasks as needed Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
