Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Human Resources Generalist in West Chester, Ohio!
Human Resources Generalist Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: West Chester, OH 45069
Human Resources Generalist Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience preferred
- SHRM-CP certification is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related software
- Experience with HRIS and talent management systems preferred
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- Willingness to travel periodically to the Dayton area
About the Human Resources Generalist Role
As a Human Resources Generalist, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily Human Resources functions and employee support activities
- Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process for open positions
- Collaborating with department managers to identify staffing needs and required competencies
- Conducting background checks and employment eligibility verifications
- Coordinating and conducting new hire orientation programs
- Administering employee benefits, compensation, leave programs, and HR policies
- Supporting performance management, employee development, and recognition programs
- Tracking and documenting employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
- Assisting with employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
- Responding to employee, applicant, and supervisor inquiries
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed
- Monitoring HR trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Performing additional Human Resources duties as assigned
