Crown Staffing is urgently hiring for a Human Resources Generalist in West Chester, Ohio!

Human Resources Generalist Job Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.00–$27.00/hour (based on experience)
Location: West Chester, OH 45069

Human Resources Generalist Requirements/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year of Human Resources experience preferred
  • SHRM-CP certification is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related software
  • Experience with HRIS and talent management systems preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Willingness to travel periodically to the Dayton area
About the Human Resources Generalist Role
As a Human Resources Generalist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing daily Human Resources functions and employee support activities
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring process for open positions
  • Collaborating with department managers to identify staffing needs and required competencies
  • Conducting background checks and employment eligibility verifications
  • Coordinating and conducting new hire orientation programs
  • Administering employee benefits, compensation, leave programs, and HR policies
  • Supporting performance management, employee development, and recognition programs
  • Tracking and documenting employee training, certifications, and compliance requirements
  • Assisting with employee relations matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations
  • Responding to employee, applicant, and supervisor inquiries
  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures as needed
  • Monitoring HR trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Performing additional Human Resources duties as assigned
