Forklift Operator Requirements

  • At least six months of forklift experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely in a manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail when moving and staging materials
  • Ability to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures
  • Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to move materials and finished products throughout the facility.
  • Deliver materials to designated production and storage areas.
  • Stage finished automotive wheels for the next step in the process.
  • Check loads for visible damage and report concerns.
  • Keep travel paths and work areas clean and organized.
  • Follow forklift operating and workplace safety procedures.
  • Perform other material handling duties as assigned.
