Janitor Job Details
Frankfort, KY
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Flexible Scheduling
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Full-Time
Janitor Requirements
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
- Ability to lift, carry, and use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
- Commitment to workplace safety
Key Responsibilities
- Empty trash and recycling containers and replace liners
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and entry mats
- Dust furniture, desks, filing cabinets, ledges, blinds, and other surfaces
- Clean and disinfect workstations, desks, tables, phones, and other high-touch surfaces
- Clean windows, interior glass, office doors, partitions, and entrance doors
- Spot clean walls, doors, carpets, and other surfaces as needed
- Remove fingerprints, smudges, and cobwebs throughout the facility
- Dust vents, light fixtures, cabinets, and other elevated surfaces
- Arrange furniture and maintain neat, organized work areas
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met
- Turn off lights and secure work areas when daily cleaning is complete
- Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning standards
