Mental Health Trainee Job Details

Schedule: Full-time schedule. Hours will be discussed during the interview.
Pay Rate: $12.00/hr
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Mental Health Trainee Requirements/Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or pursuing a degree related to counseling, psychology, social work, or a related behavioral health field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Professional, compassionate, and dependable.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and clients.
Basic computer skills required.
Drug screen not required.

About the Mental Health Trainee Role

As a Mental Health Trainee, your responsibilities will include:

Assist behavioral health professionals with daily administrative and program activities.
Support counseling and wellness services through assigned projects and tasks.
Maintain accurate documentation and client records while following confidentiality guidelines.
Communicate professionally with students, staff, and community members.
Assist with scheduling, office support, and program coordination.
Participate in training and professional development activities.
Support special events, outreach programs, and wellness initiatives.
Complete additional duties as assigned while gaining hands-on experience in a behavioral health setting.
