Job Description
Order Entry Clerk
This is a trial-to-hire opportunity. 1st Shift 8 am – 4:30 pm
Pay will range from $17 to $20/hr based on experience, Calumet City, IL
What you will do:
• Process customer orders in WMS and customer systems daily
• Communicate effectively with the customer, carriers, warehouse personnel, management, etc.
• Can multitask check-in drivers and answer phones.
• Provides support to the warehouse and Operations Manager when needed.
• Proficient in Office products and email communications.
• Processes weekly and end-of-month billing in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Prior experience with a third-party warehouse or logistics setting
• Must have Hazardous materials knowledge and experience in preparing DOT documents.
• Strong Computer skills / Data entry
• High school diploma or GED required
